Lesson 7: As your business matures, YOU must mature as a leader
I had a full client book, but I was still pushing my marketing and sales activity as if I were a brand-new startup. I was exhausted and could not understand why.
A coach said something that changed everything. You do not need to push that hard anymore. You are established. You need to change how you market, how you sell and where you put your energy. It was a moment of realisation.
My business had grown, but I had not grown with it. I see this with so many of the wonderful clients I work with. Their businesses evolve, yet they still operate as if they were in the early days. As your business matures, your leadership must mature too.
Your behaviour, energy, and focus need to match the stage your business is at.
